Windows 7
Microsoft Vienna which is the successor of Windows Vista which is now internally renamed Windows 7.
Microsoft announced that Windows 7 is going to mark their goal of delivering applications on schedule. It could be remembered that Microsoft took more than five years with countless of delays before they were able to launch Windows Vista.
I remember a few years back when Steve Ballmer took over the CEO role wherein he announced a new program which aims to make their employees great finishers. This means that perennial delays on software releases would be gone through their finishers program—come Windows Vista and that program never made its mark.
Windows 7 is going to be released in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Microsoft also planned to offer consumers a subscription model for their operating system; but no finalized plan for it for the time being.
