This is exactly what I need. I love technical posters and Kirk Stark from the SharePoint User Assistance team satisfied cravings by creating posters that shows the parameters of SharePoint Stsadm. He created one for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services 3.0

Since he is already done with his presentations he is inviting you guys for the SharePoint by Day, SharePint by Night at Kells on Wednesday night March 6. This sounds good.

I have reported about Microsoft SharePoint Conference 2008 and now the conference is underway here in Seattle. The event is a blast and I am surprise about the number of people attending compared to the SharePoint Conference 2006.

My initial thoughts are as follows:

1. The number of attendees is almost four times that of 2006.
2. The number of vendors exibiting in the conference is almost five times than before.
3. The food is still great as ever.
4. All SharePoint MVPs are speaking in the event.

I would post my notes and day to day activities in the conference here which started on March 2 and ends on March 6.

National SharePoint Experts would be in Nashville to speak at the world’s business-oriented conference on SharePoint and Microsoft Office System called The SharePoint Information Worker Conference 2008 from February 4-5, 2008. The conference is designed for business web and application professionals who needs to stay on leading edge technologies on MOSS 2007 and Windows SharePoint Services business applications.

SharePoint Solutions has released Alert Manager 2007 which expands the alert of SharePoint through the following features:

Alert Pipeline is a free add-in for SharePoint which expands its alert capabilities. The description of the add-in are as follows:

A study conducted by Network World results in SharePoint being the de-facto standard for enterprises. More than half of organizations who have deployed Exchange Server are already using SharePoint and additional 12% of them would be deploying SharePoint in the next year.

It is too bad that Knowledge Network was already dropped. Several months back, I worked for a few months on the beta version of Knowledge Network; but unfortunately it was canned before we could implement that in the enterprise level.
