TechCrunch has posted an article on the recent milestone of Google enterprise who just went out with their 5th generation of search appliance. The search appliance is a yellow box based on a Dell server. The latest release has the following features:

3. Indexes data from Oracle, SAP, Documentum, SharePoint, Salesforce.com, HR, etc.

21apps has just announced that their new re-designed site was built with Agile SharePoint development in mind. From the home page you would notice right away the message it want to convey—“Agile”.

I cannot understand how Starry Dynamo came up with a conclusion that SharePoint is only respected because of its File Management capabilities as she has written in this post.
All of the project engagements I have worked on SharePoint required complex usage of the tool extending it to fit large enterprise requirements.
