Microsoft says that SharePoint is an integral component of Windows 7 Phone series which means they are pushing their Windows 7 platform to enterprise users. What happened to the consumer market? We really know where the bulk of the consumers are—iPhone, Nokia.

Anyways, in the last decade the mobile integration of SharePoint has been horrendous and a simple check mark on the settings of List doesn’t magically transform your portal into a full blown Mobile ready application. The mobile capability that SharePoint offered is archaic at best with only a skinless interface showing you metadata on various lists and content.

Rock Band & Guitar Hero has fueled ailing music sales by raking in $2.3 billion in the last three years. This is a needed boost where holiday revenues from conventional music sales dropped 19 percent from the previous year.
