SharpBITS.NET for Downloading Large Files

Virtual PCs have become standard in development especially in Microsoft platform. Downloading 18GB files could take a very long time and could be eased by developing an application that download these items in bits and pieces.

This makes SharpBITS.net relevant which is a wrapper of the BITS API and a Windows UI application for accessing BITS and uploads.

I think it would be good to create an application that requests for downloading of large files and a SharePoint timer job to execute this requests spread over a given amount of time? Or a windows client requesting from a web service?
