Google Wave is an integral part of Google’s digital collaboration offerings which they have launched last year with much flare and interest. Google Wave is not yet available to the public and selected invites were sent for developers and users to try them out.

Since last year, Google Wave’s popularity continued to plummet and the only update from that corner is version 2 of their robots API.

Foursquare is definitely making waves and its location based technology is great for connecting and extended for collaboration among nearby folks.

Did Microsoft get SharePoint right the first time around?

That’s a question going through my mind right now after reading an article over at ZDNet where Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer answered in an interview that Google did it right first. The interview done was during the Search Engine Marketing Expo in Silicon Valley. In Steve Ballmer’s answer: “The Number One thing that Google benefits from in search is that they did it right first. There’s a value to incumbency. But that’s not to say that Bing can’t catch up and even hit profitability with search. And the companies have certainly picked up the pace of innovation. But there’s still really a lot of work to do.”

Everytime Apple releases a product, media brand it as the Microsoft/Windows killer.

People just don’t get it, Microsoft and Windows aren’t going to die. The only time it would get eradicated is when the planet is hit by a gigantic meteorite.
