Microsoft Office Labs on Silverlight 2.0 Launched

The Microsoft Office Labs 2.0 launched on a Silverlight 2.0 developed website. The site automatically loads the Silverlight version if the computer has the engine installed, and would load the html version if Silverlight is not installed.

The image on the left is the new homepage of Microsoft Office Labs and in a previous post (Office Labs), you can see the old version in a large view. Below is the side by side display of both old and new versions:

When you open the site, the loading page of Silverlight is shown, see image below:

In the old version, you can see that all the projects are listed in the homepage, in the new version the page is divided into two sections -- Navigation and Latest Items.

Navigation - The navigation have "Projects", "Blog", and the "About" links.

Latest Items - The latest items section have "Most Popular Downloads", "What's New at Office Labs", "Latest Blog" with "Behind the Scenes".
