HP is Confident That Windows 7 Can Deliver the Performance on Netbooks

In a vote of confidence for Windows 7, HP has announced that three versions of Windows 7 would be able to run on HP mini netbooks which are Starter, Home Premium and Professional editions.

Microsoft has a total of six editions for Windows 7 which includes Enterprise and Ultimate editions. According to the software giant, this move should serve the different PC consumer markets.

Aside from Windows 7, HP also said it plans to continue offering Windows XP and Vista on netbooks.
