Do you need a hotfix? A hotfix is described as a single package which address a specific issue of the customer. Instead for waiting the service pack which contains all fixes, a hotfix should be able to solve a specific problem right away.
To request for a hotfix, Microsoft has provided an online submission form found here. You will be required to give the hotfix number you need which you should be able to search easily given the problem description that the customer is facing. Your email address is required for you to receive the hotfix and you can also provide information on the region, platform, and product language for easy and better result.
