Halo 3 is the new Hollywood Blockbuster

Make no mistakes about it, Microsoft's Halo 3 is the new Hollywood blockbuster after selling $170 million in the first 24 hours after it's release.

This amount surpasses even Hollywood's much awaited Spiderman 3 who only racked up $151 million for its opening weekend.

Sales of XBox is expected to rise especially when games like Halo 3 compell people to open up their wallets and play the game.

Kudos to Microsoft and Halo 3.
