Google Wave v2 robots API released

Google Wave

Google Wave

Google Wave is an integral part of Google's digital collaboration offerings which they have launched last year with much flare and interest. Google Wave is not yet available to the public and selected invites were sent for developers and users to try them out.

Since last year, Google Wave's popularity continued to plummet and the only update from that corner is version 2 of their robots API.

The Google Wave robots API is one of the two extensions available to developers, the other extension are gadgets. Google robots are those extensions that participate automatically within waves, gadgets on the other hand are those apps that run inside of waves. From the sound of it, robots are like web services that listen and respond outside of the environment.

Unfortunately I didn't get a developer invite and could not validate this. I would however request access once again and continue on posting updates on any news on this technology.
