The Tale of the 2 Million Leopard Sales vs 88 Million Strong Windows Vista Shipments

There is a lot of buzz on the 2 million sales generated by Apple on their Leopard release and there isn’t a lot of positive notes when Microsoft sold 20 million Windows Vista licenses in the first month, 40 million copies in the first 100 days, 60 million copies in July and now 88 million copies.

PHP for Visual Studio (VS.PHP 2.3) Released

PHP for Visual Studio (VS.PHP 2.3)

JCXSoftware released VS.PHP 2.3 which works with Windows Vista. Major features of this release is the capability to work on remote files with local interface and user experience. Creation, edit and deletion of files are done with ease.

I like intellisense features on this release; but other than using Visual Studio as a local file editor, I don’t see a great value in the usage of Visual Studio engine for programming in PHP.

Both are Serious but Microsoft is not Going to Buy Yahoo

Microsoft is behind Google and their barrage of online services from MSN to Live have not closed the gap between these two companies; buying an established company like Yahoo should be no brainer as it could instantly keep them within striking distance of Google.

The buyout is not going to happen
