Bullet Proof Way to Crash Windows Vista
It took millions of dollars to make Windows Vista secure and stable. While I am happy that Windows Vista is so much stable than Windows XP; there is a bullet proof way to crash WindowsVista.
Open Windows Vista windows explorer by hitting Windows Key and the letter E. Try holding both keys down for 3 seconds and it is annoying. Try holding the key down to 5 seconds and its f**k up. How about holding down the key for 30 seconds? Windows Vista would crash similar to what happened to my computer a while ago.
A simple service which loops a thousand times while sending Windows Key + E can be written within ten minutes.
Microsoft may have spent millions of dollars for security and stability; it takes two fingers or a simple service to crash Windows Vista down.
No matter how bullet proof Windows Vista claims to be, two keys to crash the operating system is a bullet proof approach as well.
BOOKMARK FOR REFERENCE

wow… I’m glad I didn’t do the full 5 seconds!
-
Umm…this didn’t crash Vista for me. I held it down for about 40 seconds. Opened up tons of Explorer windows (as expected), and the screen did go a bit wonky. But, holding down Alt+F4 for about the same amount of time as I held down Win+E, put everything back together.
-
I hope this gets around.
I wonder how much more WOW users can find.

I did that and Windows Vista did not crash. After some minutes (the windows continued opening) I decided to start closing them. And, at the sixth windows, Vista told me that explorer.exe had to close. I closed and All open windows were closed except one of them. And the computer was working well.

try this, fill your bathtub with water to the top, then sink your computer running window vista in it. I just discover that it crash .. try it yourself, you will be amazed how easy it can crash
-
This is absolute rubbish – did you try it more than one PC (ie not your own)?
I’m certainly not saying that Vista is bulletproof – but sounds like the article writer’s PC is simply unstable rather than Vista being to blame on this one. -
What a poor atemp at FUD!
-
Oh no, I forced the system to do something repeatedly in a short period of time and it’s now trying to catch up with everything by opening tons of explorer windows. If you really want to crash your system, hit the hard drive with a hammer while you’re computer is running…

absolute rubbish……………..

haha lol nice catch.

Bullshit… it doesn’t work
