People are branding Microsoft to have done the top “con” job as they seem to have junked Windows Vista Ultimate Extras on the new Windows Vista SP1 beta version. Microsoft needs to provide an explanation for this. The attention it commands grows stronger by the day.

Nick White, product manager of Windows Vista, reported that they have already released Windows Vista Service Pack 1 beta version to a select group of beta testers. It is still a small and private release to a fraction of the confirmed 1,500 beta testers of the new operating system; however, this still doesn’t change the fact that the service pack is nearing it’s release date.

Microsoft has a whopping 98 percent business potential in Europe given that only 2 percent of the companies have upgraded to Windows Vista.
Most Anti-Vista people are happy that only 2 percent of the businesses have leaped to Windows Vista; but what they don’t realize is that the amount of Windows Vista license that Microsoft would be expecting when the date for Windows XP retirement comes near is huge.
Microsoft has quietly pushed Windows XP back to consumers to make sure they retain computer users to a Microsoft base operating system. This move would ensure that those who have not upgraded to Windows Vista will remain a potential license sale to Microsoft in the near future.
2 percent of businesses moving to Windows Vista may be small; but given that Microsoft has already sold 60 million licenses ages ago, their 1 billion license target still remains strong.
Only 2 percent of companies in Europe have upgraded to Windows Vista? Let’s just say, 98 percent of companies in Europe will soon become a cash cow for Microsoft via their Windows Vista product—that sounds better.

Microsoft is silently pushing for a quick Windows Vista downgrade option for Windows Vista Business and Ultimate versions. This is a major move from their strong push for Windows Vista when decided to tell PC makers to stop pushing for Windows XP and instead pre-load everything with Windows Vista.
