Collaboration on Database

This is good news to all database developers as Microsoft has now added improvements to the Visual Studio Line by creating tools to allow database professionals to interact and collaborate with the rest of the software development team.

On the other hand, I believe this is more than good news to the rest of the team of being able to get the database people in the flow of things. Often times, it is rather tedious and time consuming to get the database people to do what you want them to. They seem to live in their own little world.

Day 3: Enterprise Search

There are a lot of innovations put into the new Search capabilities of SharePoint. However, there was no detailed description of how search results are determined yet, but I hope it would have the capability of pushing the best documents up the results which is useful whenever there are already tens of millions of documents with a lot of similar documents uploaded to the server that makes searching painful.

You might have noticed I am posting my exact notes from the SharePoint conference here in Bellevue, Washington.

I will go through each of them again after the conference and I will write deep technical and stakeholder points of view for each session. I will give the advantages and disadvantages of the product. For now, please bear with my rapid note-taking.
